Cleanroom

Last year we needed a cleanroom for a ‘special project’. Since we could not buy one quickly, we decided to build it ourselves. It consists of

• The ‘room’: Ikea racks with plastic cover, working shelves.
• A soft box motor to bring the air to the filter and put the cleanroom on overpressure, capacity 750m3.
• A closed-top box of Plexiglas, in which we have built two fresh HEPA filters.
• Led light strips are included as well.

It is not needed, so who’s the next biofabricator that needs a cleanroom?
